L'accesso diretto alla rete Tor a volte può essere bloccato dal fornitore di servizi Internet o da un governo. Tor Browser include alcuni strumenti di elusione per aggirare questi blocchi. Questi strumenti sono chiamati “pluggable transports”.

TIPOLOGIE DI PLUGGABLE TRANSPORT

Al momento ci sono tre tipi di pluggable transport disponibili, ma altri sono in fase di sviluppo.

obfs4 obfs4 makes Tor traffic look random, and also prevents censors from finding bridges by Internet scanning. obfs4 bridges are less likely to be blocked than its predecessors, obfs3 bridges.
meek I trasporti fanno credere che tu stia navigando su un comune sito web invece di utilizzare Tor. meek-azure fa sembrare che tu stia utilizzando un sito web Microsoft.
Snowflake Snowflake è un miglioramento di Flashproxy. Invia il traffico attraverso WebRTC, un protocollo peer-to-peer con NAT integrata.

USARE I PLUGGABLE TRANSPORTS

To use a pluggable transport, click "Tor Network Settings" when starting Tor Browser for the first time. Under the "Bridges" section, select the checkbox "Use a bridge" and choose the "Select a built-in bridge" option. Seleziona il trasporto collegabile che vorresti usare dal menu a tendina. Once you've selected the pluggable transport, scroll up and click "Connect" to save your settings.

Or, if you have Tor Browser running, click on "Preferences" (or "Options" on Windows) in the hamburger menu (≡) and then on "Tor" in the sidebar. In the "Bridges" section, select the checkbox "Use a bridge", and from the option "Select a built-in bridge", choose whichever pluggable transport you'd like to use from the dropdown. Each of the transports listed in Tor Bridge's menu works in a different way, and their effectiveness depends on your individual circumstances.

Se stai cercando di aggirare una connessione bloccata per la prima volta, dovresti provare i diversi trasporti: obfs4, snowflake o meek-azure.

Se provi tutte queste opzioni e nessuna di esse ti fa connettere, dovrai richiedere un bridge o inserirne manualmente gli indirizzi.
